I seriously don't know what to think anymore. It could be a teamviewer because my computer did shut off.

That's why the pic was change. Apparently the hacker needed Email info/pass to email. Then they have access to everything. If they had that viewing thing why bother changing the pic to get in, to much work imo. If he logged on his email within the time frame of the keylogger which we don't know when it could of attached on his comp, then the hacker has full information of everything.

I was keylogged before ugh tried everything, I even knew the location of the keylog and it kept coming back everytime i deleted it, so i couldn't take it and wiped out my entire laptop then i re installed windows on it. Turned out fine now lol. Technology is crazy a simple seemingly harmless download could ruin your life, only reason why keyloggers don't hack you straight away is cuz they give you some time to make it seem it's safe or they could be busy hacking the other hundreds of maplers. I'm just glad i didn't get my bank acc stolen or credit cards lol

Wow thank you so much! I'll try all these things. I would hate to wipe out my computer because my dad would be so furious. I hope it's a simple keylogger, but then again you said that there were keyloggers that can hide for days, months, or years... Jesus Christ TECHNOLOGY WTF.

What i did when i had a keylog what i did was umm wipe out my entire computer, then re-install it, but you're going to need your system cd like wins 7, xp, vista. The trial will be fine to.

How can you prevent this from happening? Is there a virus scanner or something because I only have one computer that I use for maple...

they prob just brute force into your email and changed your pic
if you use gmail, check the log in history thingy

better change your pass, pic, email password, secret question on both your ms acc and your email.

Yeah.. Sorry for the loss, best thing to do now is get on another comp and change every info you have; email, ms, everything. Be careful of what you download btw. It doesn't necessarily mean you downloaded something yesterday or this week, a keylogger can remain hidden forever and strike when least expected so you can't say you downloaded a keylogger or not because your don't really know if you did 1 year ago or few months ago, can't really remember every single download

Yea the email got deleted. Most likely they keylogged you. Change all your passwords from a different comp.
