Calling all body builders for advice

I work out almost every day and I felt like I needed more energy to get me started now-a-days.
I want a Pre-workout "mix" but I have no idea what to look for, though I heard you should look for Creatine.

Any suggestions? I saw this and it seemed pretty "promising".
It seems insane(?) though when products like this say "2000% DV Vitamin B12" in a single serving.
Is that safe? Is it too much?

So to rephrase, are these "mixes" fine to use for an 18 year old if so do you recommend any?

Thanks c:

I've made a decision to hang on to the idea for now but I may try it in the future, which I guess isn't really a decision lol
Thanks all for your input.

@ultimangex It certainly helped me pump out a few more reps when I was doing high volume, heavy oly training in the past - as in, daily maxes for the classic lifts (clean and jerk / snatch) and daily heavy squats. That was to prepare for competition. If you use it correctly, I can't imagine that you'll have any troubles.

I haven't taken creatine for a while now, since I've gotten busier and toned down my training.
I also cycled it 3 months on, 1 month off

I'm with you on the "caffeine" point but you really only touched on Creatine.
Would you discourage it?

You honestly don't need any kind of medicine/drink mix/etc etc to get in shape unless you have a need to get in shape quickly
Would it be fine to do 1 week on > 1 week off? or should I do it in monthly spans like you said?
The monthly spans are better because it takes a few days for the your muscles to become filled with it. If you cycle it every week then it won't really have any benefits. Anyways I gotta go. Just PM me if you have any more questions!
Creatine cycling is when you go on it for about 4-6 weeks then go off it for about the same amount of time. If you're always on creatine then your body becomes dependent on the supplement. Creatine is made naturally within the body already.
What exactly is "cycling Creatine"?
and I kinda feel like 2000% is overkill. Why not just put like 200%?
Edit: Oh btw if you're training almost everyday have you every tried doing a deload week? Essentially a week of a normal workout program except you're only doing about 50% of your max. So it's just a week for your central nervous system to relax. You'll come back with a lot more energy the next week or maybe lowering the amount of times your workout in a week. You could be over training.
i highly recommend you not use any of those products, its way better if you just get your protein from meats like chicken. a protein shake should not be used everyday, its only if your REALLY need something quick. anyways natural protein works better than that stuff.
Yeah I agree about the natural stuff.
I didn't even know these had protein.
I needed something "similar" to caffeine to make me feel like "I'll explode if I don't work out" and I guess with Creatine replenishing the energy for muscles as well.

The mixes should be fine. When companies put over 100% on the serving sizes it's so that you're actually able to get the 100%. All the excess is excreted out when you go to the washroom. Don't be alarmed when your urine is a very dark colour after taking these supps.

I've heard great things about MusclePharm and NO Xplode from my friends. Another popular one is 1MR. I personally don't buy them since I don't think they're necessary, but I do enjoy using it when I get the chance.

Creatine isn't really a preworkout, but it essential fills your muscles with more water I believe or something along those lines. In the end you're able to push out 2-3 more reps of the same weight or just aim for a heavier set. Remember to cycle creatine if you do take it!

If you wanna try something cheap then here you go. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRovpd524XA It's essentially pepsi or any soda you want plus instant coffee lol
