Nightlord

A bit confused about the whole cygnus update thing

If Cygnus Knights will be able to get to level 200, then will night lords essentially be nullified? Seeing how we don't have any skills that benefit parties for boss runs, and NWs will have more damage (I think? Need clarification on this too.)isn't there no point in making night lords anymore? lol
@paying: but she was talking about when nightwalker gets revamped...
which idk when that is...
Exactly. Which means it'll be impossible to know whether or not Night Walkers will have more damage or more party buffs.

@CanonkILL99: Yes. When they're revamped, their level cap is also increased to 250 along with receiving their own unique Hyper Skills.

So far, Thunder Breaker, Wind Archer, and Dawn Warrior have received their makeovers, so they can also achieve level 250. Blaze Wizard and Night Walker have yet to be revamped, so they remain at the level 120 cap for the time being.
well theyre probably going to go through a complete gameplay change just like tbs and wa so prossibly yes, although hopefully they will have something far more unique to them than NL's

Throwing things out there? You mean throwing stars out there

This pretty much happened to all completely revamped jobs, like how pirates and theif revamps completely overhauled the class. But I don't think that that would happen to the NW seeing how it is supposed to be based off of NL's like how a TB is based off a bucc. NW also stands for Nova Warrior

I'm almost positive that KoC classes that are/have being/been revamped will have their lvl cap raised to 250 as well.

There's been no objective reason to make a NL for several years now. What will change?

When nw is revamped,it will also received its hyper skill. The three cygnus classes that been revamp received their hyper skills with revamp skills.

Wait, aren't they going to raise Cygnus Knights to 250 along with all the other classes?
patience is a virtue...yes cygnus update will update the cygnus knights, and raise their cap to 200, but i recall that this is after the raise of the cap to 250 for all other jobs, and that raise in cap most likely means ANOTHER revamp or improvement for all other jobs except the cygnus knights.

If it does go well, GMS might just wait till KMS releases everything (like they do in parts) and release it all at once, like they usually do with all KMS large updates, once again, patience is a virtue
Sadly, no. It was in KMST that thunder breakers cap was raised to 200, but their cap was raised to 250 like everyone else's in the live server.

@minipokemon: I thought they all had the ability to get to 200 before their specific revamps. I guess I was wrong? I thought they all got to 200 at the same time and individual classes received buffs

ooops

Then the answer to this thread is..

Nobody knows yet!

@minipokemon: Yeah but thunder breaker had their revamp. In their current state night walkers as far as I know don't have hypers
Not a chance. They also in fact have less damage, and I believe they don't get hyper skills.

Level 20: MP Cost: 21, Damage: 253%, Number of Attacks: 4 <- KoC quad throw. Unless hidden street scammed me and they can somehow get up to level 30 quad throw..
thunder breaker got hypers, and they are cygnus knights... so... i think all the cygnus will get hypers eventually

NW hasn't even been released yet so you can't know if it's stronger or not. plus, if they're different enough, playstyle

night lords will be able to get to level 250. there will most likely be content that is lvl 201 + that CKS cannot access just like the way it is now.

in reality all nexon really does, is take the same game, but add more numbers lol.

i mean, think about it.
