I'm planning to try out a nl and was wondering how my range would change. Currents Im sitting at 180k buffed as a shad. What range could I expect if I made the switch?

It would probably go down. Shads have much better range buffs than NLs.
This question is impossible to answer without knowing your exact stats.

~160 att claw with no potential just for now
Claws have a really strong multiplier compared to daggers (1.8 iirc) so depending on how much attack you have would be the increase.
