Hands down the ultimate franchise pack is the best option. It's only $3 more than the game of the century edition and it includes Saint's Row 2, 3 and 4, plus a ton of dlc which happens to include the game of the century edition. Unless you're really strapped for cash, that's a lot of bang for your buck. Even if you don't care for the dlc, if you haven't played the other games in the series it's definitely worth the extra $6.

Although glancing at the list I don't see the first game in there, but I might just be overlooking it, playing Saint's Row 2 before the first game might leave you with a few details left out, but 3 and 4 are kind of standalone in the series and move away from the serious story of the first 2 and just become over the top craziness. 3 was my favorite in the series, and 4 was pretty fun with all the super powers albeit slightly strange with the alien thing lol. Worth it to play those 2 for just $13 and the dlc might be more fun than you're expecting.

If I wanted it, I'd probably pay the extra 3 bucks

They're all the same game lol. If you want to spend an extra 7$ you can get saints 1, 2, 3, and 4. I personally think thats a better offer, but you can always just get saints 4 since thats really good.
