Best Way of Increasing your Iq?
Lately..I feel slow, in my head. I..can't comprehend anything at school anymore. I also feel stupid at times where I don't get my friend's jokes, or just trying to follow simple instructions.
I feel really stupid, to come here and ask Basil, but Google isn't really telling me much. I can't tell if the results from the search Engine are serious.
So Basil, what is the best way of increasing your IQ, despite the fact that you have countless trolls and immature people? (I'm really gasping straws here..)

You cannot increase your intelligence since you are as intelligent as you are born. However, you will be able to process things faster if you get more sleep (10+ hours at a specified timeframe for me), excercise, and eat well. Try it for a month and you will notice a difference
Play Chess.
Learn maths.
This thread made me LOL by the way.
Stop playing Maple.
Sleep, nutrition, diet and exercise. A healthy body makes for a healthy mind. That's all you can do for IQ, really.
There's no tests or anything you can take to make it go higher as far as I'm aware.
Playing an instrument i hear helps.
Through general alertness: staying up to date with current events; and try to avoid multitasking for easier and increased focus.
lolololololol, funney.
OT: Some people are born inferior, but it helps to study different kinds of things.
HAYY PARTHYYY ; ITS IVANNNN (:
You sound really desperate .
Your IQ isn't something you can change. You're born with it. There are tricks you can do to help do better in school, but you can't change your IQ
Edit: @Primalfurey: Mental retardation has everything to do with IQ. That's how the classification is made.
Lol... having a higher IQ will not make you better at understanding or comprehending. IQ is not even a measure of intelligence, imo, it's only an attempt to make some numerical value to compare your "intelligence" to others.
Seems like you have more of a personal problem to me, and you shouldn't push yourself to understand jokes because they're meant to be taken light-heartily. As for the not understanding things in school... you either need to push yourself to concentrate more, or you can get additional help if it's really affecting you.
ah I feel like that a lot. I do well in school yet..
sometimes I can't seem to do the simplest things.. like, life-things.. like crossing a really busy street.
its weird. ._.
I dunno what to tell you..
sniff some permanent markers
Not BasilMarket
This happens to me from time to time and the usual cause is that there is something else on my mind or im worried/bothered by something.
Just take a breather. I usually just take a really long shower to clear my thoughts and it works.
Read a lot, study a lot.
Such as? Recommend me some books. I have been reading English my whole life, and I don't feel an increase in my brainpower.
I see.. But, what does EQ mean?
Emotional quotient.
you need to dream =]
Get BasilMarket and MapleStory out of your life.
Seriously.
That's the first step.
Then go exercise or take up a sport.

Scott Pilgrim
OT: Go to school
IQ has nothing to do with getting jokes, that would fall under your EQ.
Increasing your IQ would have little benefit in helping you understand your friend's jokes or do well in class. IQ is not a measure of overall intelligence but more along the lines of cognitive ability and problem solving. Most of the things you learn in high school and first stages of university are rote learning. Increasing your IQ will have negligible effect.
Instead I suggest you get some help from your teachers and/or sort out any problems that may make you feel tired throughout the day that might impair your thinking.
Brain Age.
Go pick up a DS.

If there was a way to increase IQ why are there still mentally retarded people in this world?
