Am I wrong here?

My mom and dad work together as they own their own private business. We currently only have 1 family car atm.

My dad comes today around mid afternoon saying that he had to go to the bank then drop some stuff off at home.

My two sisters and I are hungry and seeing as we have no transportation and the nearest place to eat is a 25 min walk away, I ask my dad to buy my sisters and I food.

I even hand him some money. My dad proceeds to say that he'll reimburse me for the money spent on my sisters food.

The problem here was. My dad comes home saying that almost everywhere is closed, and my mom called him and she is angry. Hands back the money and leaves to go back to work.

My mom then calls me and starts yelling.

Saying that I'm wasting my dads time that could be spent at work and that I'm treating my dad like a bank. And that she's not happy at all with me. She then calls me ungrateful and that I am old enough to walk 25 mins to buy my sisters some food.

So... the question is.. Am I wrong here? Or is it just my moms time of the month.

Well seeing as people can't seem to read.

Let me establish some facts here. We currently do not have any food at home. I have 2 sisters who are hungry as well as me. Step into my shoes. I just woke up. My dad comes home in the afternoon from work one day. HEY. why not ask him to bring home some food.

Sounds like the truth is being concealed. I'm assuming your ineptitude at cooking caused your mother to be angry and it really was not your mother or father's fault.

I think people attention span or their attention for details needs work. I think your mom is upset about something else. Tell on her by talking to your grandparent. Your grandparent than calls her ungreatful etc etc bing bang boom. Hi5 smiles all around.

I already did. People seem to be missing the fact that, it was because my dad was home. That was why I asked.

I do not mind walking to get food for my sisters. Just the opportunity came up where my dad comes home. Obviously...

Instead of replying to comments or even have made this thread in the first place, you could have gotten food and been back by now.

Edit: I didn't see anything mentioned in your post about their not being any food in the refrigerator.
