Explorer mount
I heard that you can't get the hog mount for explorers anymore but you can still get the silver mane. How do you get it? It says you have to go to Kenta, but the only quest she has is Kenta's Research 1 which i don't think is the right quest.

So, it's only available if you have started it prior to a certain point. If you're able to get/have a Hog, you can get all three. Otherwise you're out of luck and GMS sucks. Case closed.
@piana I'm sure people have posted about it before. Mounts as they are serve no real use as they used to. So, I'm sure they don't really care. I mean, look at current issues- totally looked over. The day they fix all the lag that surrounds my class, AND pet-lag, is the day I cry actual tears over this game. They'll get it right one day.. Maybe

@piana It's about a month or two old.
Checking with a friend that has an old character- He did the Monster Rider quest in 2013, but never collected the Hog/Pheromones but, is still able to..
I imagine you had to of accepted the quest before a certain time to still be able to do it today. New people don't get it.

I'll probably keep an eye on my quests when I reach 70 on my assassin. (currently 62).
Err, I'm pretty sure you can still get it.(see edit) They don't broadcast the fact anymore, as I mean.. what's the point, nostalgia aside.. So, I think it's just vastly overlooked now.
I was able to obtain a hog for myself sometime around last year without walking to Korean Folk Town.
But, I'll also try it again..

Apparently they probably disconnected the questline due to Korean Folk Town being closed. I think they straight up forgot to add the quest in again. I am going to try on my Hero and maybe another character just to make sure.
@piana: How recently have you done the quest for the hog mount?
OT: The quest has been noticeably missing for nearly 2 years now as far as I know. At this point it's pretty safe to say that Nexon has no intention of fixing it, if it's bugged, or re-implementing it, if it was purposefully removed.
I actually don't know but I remember how challenging it was to get the wild hog.
Now flash jump or dash is a much more faster way to travel.
@piana are you sure about this? Whenever you talk to kenta she says "What pig? Where did you here about that". Unless there's someone else you talk to prior
