How to learn to play a guitar?
So my friend lend me his guitar for the summer (he is going somewhere, so he left me his stuff), and i wanna take the opportunity to play an instrument. But I have zero knowledge in music (such as reading notes, etc), and obviously i don't know how to play a guitar. What should I do to start learning?
edit: It's an acoustic guitar btw

Look up chords and play them. Play them to some songs maybe.

and get the Power Tab or Guitar Pro (highest rated so you get accurate ones).
That's all I did.
The problem with that is I have over 1,500 songs or so that I have downloaded, and I can't memorize any because I always wanna play different songs. I have played guitar for about 7 years and I don't think there's any song I could recite all the way through.
when I tried I looked at youtube vids and had this guitar learning app. I could play a little bit but it's a lot of muscle memory+practice mostly. Idk how to get to the point where u can play whatever, though, I'm not musically inclined.
