The majority of worthwhile bosses deal %hp damage so their low HP is kinda irrelevant.
Wind archers have two skills that helps with hp/damage. Featherweight which reduces damage taken from normal monsters by 30%, and Touch Of The Wind, which increases our max hp by an extra 20%. Couple those two and the extra avoidability we get with some other skills and mw, I think we're fine.
Wind archers are one of the stronger branches of archers. They also arguably have top notch mobility/ maneuvering skills. If hp is an issue, maybe make link skill mules or use more equip sets that boost hp alongside attack/ all stats.

I never understood how people still have problems with HP these days. Pre-bb there weren't a lot of ways to get some extra HP, but these days there are so many things you can do to increase it. Also, as long as you can survive 3 hits of your enemie your always fine if you have auto HP.
The question is whether you enjoy playing it with less hp or not.
