paypal question
say you have like $100 in paypal balance and a credit card hooked up to the account. are you able to make purchases online and only use the credit card and not your balance.

Exactly. It ALWAYS draws from existing Paypal account balance FIRST, and only uses the credit card if the balance is insufficient to cover the purchase.
When it says you can choose your payment method it's talking about whether you want to use Paypal or a different payment metnod, NOT how Paypal takes the money out.
(Doing credit card purchases costs Paypal money. Taking the balance out of your account costs them nothing. This is why it's set up to use the balance first.)

the paypal balance in my moms paypal is my money. but she uses paypal to buy things online with her card. i think i just need to make my own paypal. cause i don't want her purchases to deduct my balance.
Isn't it easier just to use the card in that case?
