Elite monsters spawn rate
Took me approx 5mins in any Kritias map to draw out an elite monster
How long did it take you guys? plz include map/area
And how many elite monsters we have to kill to draw out the elite boss?

@battleox288: from my experience so far, elite mobs drop crappy stuff and potions, however, elite bosses drop decent stuff including their soul shard (collect 10 to get 1 soul)
Do elite mobs drop anything of value, other than epic+ tier items? Bosses have given me css and prots, but nothing good so far from elite mobs.
As long as I cc after I kill an elite mob and have my kanna along with me, I can spawn an elite mob in 1min-1.5min in kiritias, although I don't farm elites that much anyways.
i get 1 every 2min at future perion with my lumi
Once the message changes, the elite boss usually spawns within 4 more elite mobs.
At least, thats been my experience with it.
In your case, people probably almost got to the elite boss but didn't stay long enough to actually spawn it.
If you're starting from a clean map that just had an elite boss, it takes me like ~20-25 mins at Golems to get one.
yeah apparently the systems works in a way that when an elite boss is spawn they announce it to all players within the region.
Kinda dumb.
i heard it 500 monsters per elite monster... idk.
i think its random
people ks my map all the time thinking an elite boss will spawn solely because an elite mob spawns
