is newsletter at nexon-mail.com legit?
I got my account hacked so I requested an e-mail change. (And it takes Nexon 2 months to reply to my email, are you kidding me?)
I finally got an email from them today telling me if I want to complete my email change I must download the PDF attached to the email and FAX (YES... FAX) it to the number given. On the PDF is the most ridiculous thing ever. They ask for a photocopy of my GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID. This is where it gets super suspicious, why the hell is a game company asking for a government issued ID? I looked at the email and it says @nexon-mail.com and from what i remember, their emails are usually @nexon.net
So has anyone ever faxed to @nexon-mail.com? Is it a trusted email? I just want to change my damn email... how hard can it be

Well your lucky o.o, I've given a ticket since August of 2010 for my email change, still waiting. :O
nxcache.nexon.net is basically the location that Nexon stores their files on the Internet. It's a real form.
Seriously, I don't even have a fax machine. And I don't know how I'm going to even do this process...
there's free online services on the web.
if u can copy that thing to ur computer and send it, its will be ok.
nexon uses a .net domain not a .com

@Mdawg19v3: It does say you need a parent signature if you're under 18.

@Mdawg19v3: You can get a passport by the time you are 10.
Why not do something more senseful like ask for the account's original account recovery info? (Security Questions, birthdate, creation date, character names, full name ,etc.)
I made my Bishop account when I was 11 and I did NOT think I'd ever need to send my birth certificate in for recovery purposes, so, I made my account name something senseless. Now I have to suffer 3+ years of hard work because they don't have some type of normal recovery system? I don't think so. I'm putting up an argument and I'm getting my account back, no matter what it takes.
Your fault for entering false info + identify fraud isn't exactly legal
That email & PDF are both very much real. I had to do it to get my bishop back.
Its real I got my sair back ^^

Found the same thing O_O
Plus, even if I did send them everything they wanted, I used a fake name on my Bishop, so, my photo ID won't cut it for them.
I can't believe they have the nerve to ask for that type of information on an E10+ video game for children. Like, honestly?
My real birthday =/= The one registered on my account.
And I agree, why the hell are they asking for government issued ID's for a game populated with 12 year olds. Luckily I have my drivers license but I'm still not sure if I want to send that in.
Do you see the nexon.net in the link? Yes, it is real.
my friend got that too he was like bleep
I wouldn't trust it. I'm pretty sure Nexon said that they would never ask for your personal info nor do they make you download anything other than their games.
