Ap Bio help
Hello hello
I need tips for studying for AP bio. It's basically a self study class and the grades are based on a point system (not weighted system).
I did very bad on two of my first tests and my overall grade is a D, 69%. I studied a lot for these tests...lol. My teacher suggested that I get a study group but I really doubt it would help me study efficiently because I get distracted easily.
Any kind of advice is welcome and if you want to call me stupid it's okay too BUT please help me

Just read the textbook and actually LEARN from it. I slept in that class, passed with above average grades and got a 5 on the AP test.
A guy at my school (now graduated) made this website, when he took the course last year. I'm not in AP Bio (taking AP Environmental Science) but a couple friends find the website helpful.
His description: "It has review videos, flashcards, chapter outlines, practice tests, games and even a question and answer section like Yahoo Answers. The best part is that if you register you can get points for studying and using those resources. You also get medals, higher ranks, and compete on a leaderboard with your friends and the rest of the community. Its totally free so please check it out and let me know what you think! And don't forget to register if you want rewards for studying."
holy snap. The website looks awesome. Dat effort
The AP Biology course taught in Highschool is like the 3000 level biology courses at my university, that is they are meant for college juniors/seniors who are taking biology as their major. It's actually pretty hard. My only advice to you is get a tutor who specializes in Biology.

Well you being in a social network (Basil Market) shows you get distracted easily lol ....close all internet and focus on what you need to study, for some people it does work the study group so you should try it anyway.
