the weirdest thing happened to me today

So it was raining pretty much all day and I didnt go to my history class today since I really needed to study for my nutrition class. My roommate then comes home and tells me my school bag is on top of the trunk of my car. He told me he didnt see it there when he went out and i didnt even drive or even go to my car today. I also know for a fact that I didnt take my bag out of the car yesterday since my nutrition books were already in my room. I open up my wet bag to see that my history books are soaked with nothing missing from it. At first i thought someone broke into the trunk of my car, but it wouldnt be possible without the alarm setting off and me hearing it.
I'm really confused what in the world happened.
