Classes to solo Hell Gollux?
I was just wondering if anybody knew what classes could solo hellux with the least amount of funding, sorry for the generic, annoying "what class to make" thread. Thanks!
It will take a lot of funding man. It will not be cheap, and that is clearly what you are looking for. A NW will probably have the easiest time at Hellux, but thieves are expensive to fund
I knew it wouldn't be cheap but I just wanted to know what option would be the most cost efficient f3
Do you have an estimate as to how much range/funding that would take o.o?
@ZaberDT Honestly, I don't know but if I had to guess, 1.2m-1.5m self buffed not including AA or other ice counter stacks.
This, of course, assumes at least 85% pdr, 250+% boss, and being at least level 210 or you'll actually miss your attacks.
@ZaberDT An ice lightning mage that hits like 25m per line with frozen orb counters stacked can solo it if you have a rune of swiftness + infinity.
Oh god I thought you were talking about league for a sec... "runes of swiftness/ infinity"-- edge.

@CherryTigers Yeah I still have ways to go, I was just wondering which classes can solo hell gollux with the cheapest funding and if it would be cheaper to fund one of them instead of trying to fund my mage.
@ZaberDT Hell gollux with 130k range is impossible. As you can see at the end, I'm hitting damage cap and the timer still is close to running out. If you do not have enough DPS to take the forehead jewel out in 90 seconds, you get auto-kicked and the run is a failure.
Night walkers would be the best.
And whoever said fire poison mage has no idea because I cap on my fire poison mage and hell gollux is a stressful kill every time.
Other characters that are viable:
Luminous
Night Lord
Phantom (requires massive funds)
Bowmaster (requires massive funds)
Xenon
Kaiser
Ice lightning mage
There are more characters that have a decent time at hellux but I'm too lazy to pick and list them all.
My suggestion to TS? You're a fire poison mage. If all you care about is hellux, job change to ice lightning mage. Here's a video of me soloing hellux as an ice lightning.

Don't make a xenon... I still barely finish hellux capping with snipe... and the funding to get to that point is ridiculous

I only have 130k range on my Fire posion mage would job changing to an I/L still be the best option?
edit: i dont have enough to job change atm LOL
@ZaberDT: I think you need at least 1.5m range but I don't play either of the two classes I mentioned. Usually 2m-2m just to be safe on most other classes (and more if you can't kill the bottom floor from the jewel).
Night walkers would be the best.
BW and NW comes to mind.
I think I/L have it better than F/P for hellux.
Do you have an estimate about how much funding I would need for each?
from what i understand f/p cant use most of their main skills for the jewel so their dmg isnt that good for hell.
NW is one of the best for it WA would probably be decent aswell
Wind Archers are really bad at gollux since Trifling Whim doesn't act like Mark of the Assassin or NW's bats, and we also don't get a summon or FMA that hits the bottom platform from the jewel

Are you really about to make a class solely because of one difficulty of one boss? I dont even...
F/P mage is one of the classes that can solo with a lower range.
Edit: At least to my knowledge
