Ap American government help
So i know there are people in basil that are into politics and stuff and i need some help
I have a 3 page assignment due in about a week that i have no idea what to base it on, and i just need help finding a topic
The assignment is basically picking a __current__ Bill and stating whether im against it or support it
Since i have no desire to actually get into politics, i have no idea what the Bill/topic should be and i was wondering if anyone who actually keeps up with the current issues can give me a topic to write about.
We were told to avoid Cliche topics such as gun laws, world peace, bullying, obesity, drug legalization / Prostitution / Gay marriage etc.
maybe i'll look for something about animals
Edit: if anyone wants to see the "guidelines" here it is http://imgur.com/Ma954Ix

or the Bill to fund NASA. I think it's better to support it, or rather allocate more funding into NASA. You could talk about establishing prestige as well as further our knowledge of space travel, and the discovery of potential energy sources which can replace fossil fuel etc etc etc

That's not a bill.
OT: Try talking about obama's free two years of community college bill. There are so many points you could make against it good luck!
Response to ISIS.
In Quebec there is a law related to the Good Samaritan law that says if someone is in need and you pass by and don't help them, you can get fined if you are caught (unlike every other province in Canada). I don't know if any states of America have this law but it seems like a very interesting topic to me.

isn't there a huge debate on the Keystone pipeline XL thing?
i remember doing this in apush lol
if it's a current bill, id say something like immigration bills or maybe even Obama trying to pass a bill to make community college free for students who maintain a gpa of 2.5+
