Job Change Adjustments?

Any chance Nexon will ever come up with some form of event where you can change your job beyond just the primary branch? I'm asking if a regular adventure pirate can turn into a Shade or adventure magician turning into Luminious etc.

@singsangsong

Yeah in my example they stayed in their respective branches I'm not saying you can go from a bowman to a nw or anything aha. you stay in your respective primary job (Basically the kind jobs your equipment are assigned to sort of deal). But yeah it's probably improbable

If they did implement this in game, it would be a one-time event rather than a permanent addition. There would have to be restrictions such as Theif -> other theif branch classes.

People would make a Zero and change it to another job for 100 free levels
There is just no way to design a function like that without flaws, it's possible but it would be way to much effort for Nexon's standards.

I feel like that would ruin the integrity of the class.
You make for a good point I suppose people would exploit an OP job for power levels to switch to a more 'fun' job although this point itself is subjective depending on how you view it.
On the other hand for the story could just be solved if they made a mandatory questchain for you to fulfill story if you agree to switch? I see the point you're making though and it seems very improbable though, let a guy dream hah.
maybe that would solve the storyline issue, but Idk. Im not completely convinced. inb4 it actually happens in the future
eh what? nx clothing has nothing to do with class similarities. the separated cash shop is nothing more than one of nexon's ways to suck loads of money off of people.

now to the point, it would simply make no sense due to each individual class's storylines. classes that arent adventurers have their own back story that doesnt follow the classic way to introduce / start a character. as a very simple example, so youre telling me that an adventurer mage that was never involved with the black mage suddenly is able to use light and dark magic? a an adventurer warrior that was never one of the black mage's commanders and never had his family killed suddenly became a demon slayer?

it sounds really stupid to me. the current job switching among adventurers does make sense to me because their storylines arent affected by what theyre able to do, and even that alone feels a little off.

I get it that you're just giving an idea that basically gives the game a little more variety, but this would be really silly to implement. also it would take away the whole idea behind leveling certain classes when you could just level the most op one or the easiest to grind with to then change to your desired class, taking the fun away from it.

The idea of transferable nx between different branches just a fleeting dream less than a year ago I figured the possibility of an expanded job change would be in the horizon.
Why would it make no sense if you don't mind explaining
