Anyone feel like testing a game I made?

Hello, it's been a while since I've been here.

Out of for fun (again) I decided to make a fighting game with ms sprites. There's no much of a reason other than for fun and nothing else.
So far I've got a few characters and I would like several players to try them out. As everyone would play a character differently, compared to just myself.
It supports netplay so I think it might be interesting to see how other players play the character vs how I intended them to be. (Looking for broken infinite loooops?)

I'm thinking to go for a test group via Skype. Add me ID zeru100 if you're interested.

(I don't know if I'm allowed to post these kind of DL links if it's not then just remove it.)
Here's the link of the game:

The game controls by default are with Z,X,C,A,S,D and arrow keys for player one. You can change them in the top left window in options -> keyboard. The controls listed in the character menu are based on that options->keyboard menu so just follow those.
You can get out of combos with aerial teching with S (default) or E (in game setting terms). You can also tech in directions by holding the direction + tech button.
Also note that the resources and materials I've used (like music and stuff) belong to the proper creators, their names are in the game folder.

If there are any other questions or comments you can post it here.

fradddd

I feel like someone posted about this a long time ago.
And I also feel like I commented with that^ sentence on the post.
And I also feel like I commented with that^ sentence.

Weird. I wonder when this will happen next.

Unfortunately, that's a real problem. There are lots of guides to the various building blocks, but so far I haven't seen anything that really ties it all together with a good overview of how to approach the total design of a program/game like this. Lots of "How to use DirectX", and "3D Graphics" types of things, but no really good guide to putting it all together. It seems like it boils down to "learn by doing" and lots of trial and error.
You could start with Blitz Basic (Blitz3D) or Dark Basic for small-scale games (Google the names to find their websites), but for large-scale "massively multiplayer" games you'll need to master C++ and the various 3D game engines that are available. That's just the programming end.
There are also a few "Game Maker" type programs that can get you started, but they're usually pretty limited as far as large scale projects.
Then you need to be able to create the graphics and sound assets (the music, sound effects, sprites, backgrounds and so on) for the game.
There's also a good deal of network expertise needed to make the game run on the Internet efficiently.

@zure4 Haven't had a chance to try your game out yet, but if you edit out the "s" in the "https" of your link, it'll link properly on Basilmarket.
For some reason Basil's text editor rejects "https".
Thanks for the tip
As for the other question I didn't use game maker. But instead another engine.

@BobR: I'm interested in a large scale one, would you happen to know all the core systems needed on top of the ones mentioned? I've messed with some engines like unity and unreal but I have been unable to find a real guide to piece everything together. Not even sure where to learn that stuff...

And so any interest I had to test it went away like a spoiled brat's allowance

a few glitches with the animations
the CPUs are WAY too hard lmao

overall it's pretty cool c:

EDIT: you need an in-game menu ya know...like, when you pause the game a menu comes up and lets you go to character select, main menu, etc
