The only reason it started to begin with was because Nexon made about 10 too many worlds (possibly assuming the game was going to just EXPLODE in popularity), so they had to backpedal when people flocked to the new worlds, only to abandon them a month later when whatever event was happening there ended. The Big Three really don't need a merger AFAIK; they're still populated enough that they really don't need it.
