this truly pisses me off. Because it clearly shows, along with many of other instances, the american school system would rather care about the useless memory tests than the actual health of a student. A friend of mine got stabbed in the back with a pencil and well obviously made noise of him being in pain and the teacher flipped out on him and said he was just doing it to disrupt the class, even though he was bleeding. The teacher then proceeded to give him detention for disruption of the class.

with kids getting suspended for reasons like this even the asian parents not saying "teacher always right" anymore

It's a shame that people who are trying to be helpful get punished for it.
