@alwaysthere: No, I called you a dumbass because instead of responding to my original post in this thread, you responded to my joke alluding to a famous copy paste story (kinda like if you had taken a joke about the Gorilla Warfare copy paste seriously) and acted as if me assuming your gender somehow contradicted my beliefs. It was such a lazy response with no merit.

Just look at your most recent response! When I point out you routinely refuse to engage in more advanced talk about your views and opt for snarky comments and echo chambers, you respond with "It's not me that lives in an echo chamber, it's PC people!" That's the lengthier, wordier way of saying "no you!" You know your responses are devoid of any substance when "no them!" is a much shorter but equally descriptive summary of your views.

Not that I'm expecting someone who has such a poor understanding of monetary policy to be able to do much more than make snarky comments about people they assume are PC, but you can't act as if you're actually making any meaningful statements or promoting any discussion.

This is why people like you annoy me so much. They just post links to websites that are echo chambers of their own beliefs, make some poorly informed statements like "Why are we focusing on X when it's Y that really matters?" when x has no impact on whether we also focus on Y. Instead of responding to serious posts, you single out specific things, belittle someone (in this case, assuming I'm PC even though I'm not) with bad attempts at being snarky and use this as confirmation that your poorly formed beliefs are validated. I'm not annoyed you "disagree" with me (even though, tbh, you haven't really said anything of substance that I can really disagree with), I'm annoyed you are incapable of having an actual conversation and so rely on mocking people instead of ever challenging your beliefs.

Lol @ anti-PC people being just as sensitive as the super PC people they loath. Can't go one day without hearing someone whine at how things are changing and they are always super sensitive about anything that is different from their own views. At least PC people have a point most of the time.

Also lol @ thinking that changing national anthem lyrics is somehow preventing Canada from strengthening their dollar when this has been an issue that all countries have been struggling with. Lol @ being unaware that the process of changing national lyrics has next to no impact on national fiscal impact.

Lol @ how due to the American job market report today, the American dollar actually fell and how Canada having liberal politicians had nothing to do with it. Funny how the market has a bigger say than governments as a whole with things like this. But then again, if OP gets butthurt about stuff like this, expecting them to understand what role the Canadian government actually has in being able to impact the strength of the American dollar is being even less realistic than they are.

Funny how people who are irrationally proud of their beliefs end up having the dumbest reasons for supporting their cause, but are so unaware of it, they try to be smug and snarky.

I think Canada has bigger issues in wasting tax payer dollars than this drop in the bucket. Did you see the actual bill for hotel costs, to house the Syrian refugees? Or our pretty boys PM flare for spending tax dollars in style on his trips around North America? The audits they cost the Canadian citizen to police their own corrupt government and ideas.

As far as changing who we are as a country to abide by social standards, well that is Canada in a nutshell. We have and always will be a front runner in making a change for equality.
