6th Growth Evans
Hi there Evans. This thread will mainly target those in 6th growth (and potentially 7th, since I don't know if people use fire breath anymore).
Quick question -> How fun do you find training now that dragon thrust is mega useful? And whilst we're there, how do you like the blink + thrust concept?
I quit my Evan a while a go, but when watching a level 6X Evan training with thrust and blink, I actually got a little thrill out of it. So I hopped on my Evan, tried it and it was actually heaps of fun. If it weren't for the fact I'm too lazy, I'd probably make another Evan just to get to 6th growth and use dragon thrust.

i'm having fun with it lol, dragon blink made me lazy, when i'm at a town i just blink until i get to the place or as close to the place i want to go as possible xP

I've yet to see a fire-breathing dragon that doesn't breath for an extended amount of time.
However, I've seen some that shoot missiles.

Yeah, thrust is an evan's best mobbing skill now, because of the 3hit damage, kb, and speed. Sadly, fire breath is left in the dust.
Although, fire breath is still useful at fire weak mobs like Ghost Pirates/Dual Ghost Pirates when your EQ doesn't reach the extra mobs on the side.
Interesting. As a pre-BB Evan, I never used thrust except maybe at windraiders (and purely for KB purposes), otherwise I went straight from ice to fire breath.
If you could maybe record some footage of you blink + thrust training and then uploading to youtube or something, thatd be awesome.
I liked that training. Small maps like Scorpions in Ariant make for really good Blinking, and Thrust is just an awesome mob skill. My Fire Breath is lvl 1 and I'm using it to train with (against the better judgement of others) simply because it adds variety. As fun as Thrust may be, using it as your only skill tends to take the varnish off of it.
