Opposites Attract

If opposites attract then who here on Basil would you be a pair with going by that quote alone?

I don't know anyone here personally that could be considered my opposite.

Outside of the internet that would be my sister.

@EternalMemory: It wasn't really my thing, it was more of something I was thinking about. That being said this time I actually like your response. I couldn't possibly imagine being attracted to someone who was completely different than me, not because I'm not open minded but more so that I have my priorities and if there's someone who isn't allowing me to get them done then I get pretty annoyed. Me too being Asian seem to only be attracted to mostly Asians, but then I wasn't raised by an Asian family so I don't have the culture block that comes with it.

@ashleyattacked: I like your view on this as well, which isn't too surprising being as how people have been saying our attitudes are close to the same, at least on Basil, I have no idea how you are irl, you may be like me for all I know, all I care about irl is making money, having a good career working out, my cars and my cats. It would be interesting to see how someone lives for a day or so to see how they actually are.

Anyways, thanks you two and everyone else who decided to join this little chat!

I think the notion of opposites attracting is more referring to the style/approach to life relevant to people. For example...I don't believe a Jew is going to be attracted to a Neo Nazi...but an up tight hard working nerd may be attracted to a 'lazy' person that enjoys life.

That's personally how I am. I obsessively study, work and practice things related to my potential career and personal development. On the other hand...I don't like these traits in other people so much. That's not to say I don't like those traits in other people at all, bc I actually do, but it's also noteworthy that I'm specifically drawn sometimes to people who don't care about ballet/history/bio/chem/etc...things that I consider core to who I am.

I rather lone wolf it instead of someone taking my heavy use of sarcasm to the point of annoyance.

Someone who isn't sparkly and doesn't have a cupcake on their head.

No, I rather be around people who are similar to me. I have a very commanding authority and take precedence over all my peers.

Idk, I'm pretty much neutral
I just try to be friendly with everyone and help some guys out here.
I'm not a pro on Maplestory (I just played A LOT, like, I played Brazil MS in 2007, then BMS closed, so I've gone to EMS, and played until this year, then moved to GMS for like 2~3 months ago), and I'm unfunded af if this means something.

Bring me my opposite girl

Oh, I lol'd hard at this!
