Link skill for shad

Planning on making either one of the classes for link skill on my shad. Which is more useful?

@DeeeMon So I ran out of time to go into a DiPQ so I tried it with an Ikura and can confirm the stance effect still applies when attacking. Thanks for pointing out a secret that will definitely help me and other fellow Shadowers with Stance issues.

Hmm, this is true for the original version of Assassinate. During the first attack, it would lock the character in place to prepare for the final hit which dashes you forward, to prevent any knock back since it was a short dash at the time.
The Justice version of Assassinate didn't require Dark Sight anymore, and this enabled us to spam the first part of the attack by holding down the key, being able canceling out the final hit, thus making us have a stance effect.
Then the RED version of Assassinate separated the skill into two different active attacks, making it so you have to press the key twice for the full attack. It was this change that made it possible to walk around and attack with stance on. It was in this video http://youtu.be/o4-zYy32uuo that shows the hidden Assassinate buff icon at around 1:08. This hidden buff is the stance effect.
We don't actually see this buff in game, it has always been there hidden since the very beginning. I guess that's why our 4th job book is called Shadower Secrets.

@DeeeMon I'll try it in DiPQ during the gargoyle phase since that phase lasts a bit longer than the 1 minute of Smokescreen and I always manage to get flinched at least once :l
We also have stance for 30 seconds by using just the first part of Assassinate. http://youtu.be/19ral6XSC2M It's very useful for training/mobbing, like in Dimension Invasion.
@ItsOnlyDrew Ehh, I didn't want to move around too much in case people couldn't tell if I was being knocked back or not, but you can still move around and use other skills and still have the stance effect, try it out whenever you can. I'd make another video, but the game's lagging like crap right now.

@DeeeMon I'll honestly say I only watched maybe the first 2 minutes of that clip, but from those two minutes, the only attack I saw you do was Assassinate and then paused for 30 seconds. It doesn't show if you have stance after doing said Assassinate and continue to have stance whilst moving/attacking. It seems rather fruitless to show innate 30 seconds of stance if we can't attack or move while it's active.

Even if assassinate didn't give you 100% stance, you would only really need the mihile link for queens exploding hearts.
Status resistance all the way!
Spamming Assassinate results in 100% Stance so it makes Mihile's Link rather useless in bossing.

If you already have other Cygnus linked to your Shadower, know that the Dawn Warrior only stacks on it, as in it doesn't take up another Link space in your pool of 12 allowable Links.

I'd rather have Status Resist than Stance, but that's just my preference.
yeah i don't have any cygnus knights
