@natty2 oh. I'm just comparing to other mages (and many other jobs), it's relatively easier. Like Queen is just a punching-bag for us since we can get 90%+ status resistance quite easily. Pierre also since AR is a single target skill. CV and magnus may cause some problem cuz of lacking mobility, we can't telecast but if we stop attacking and teleport we will be fine, also we have to option to jump cast in cvel, although I kinda stopped using this technique since it's stressing me. You lose some dps by teleporting though.

I ran like 10 CV runs on I/L, only one successful run. Never successfully soloed on F/P yet. But on bishop now I never die twice in CV before I switching to drop gear. One extra life every 3 min is quite amazing. (Also because of more practice and being familiar with skills I suppose)
@Starglazing: oh, that's true. You have to sacrifice something for the convenience and survival ability, we can have 10 lives in C. Vellum and ignore potion cd in Hard Magnus anyways... Once you got the damage range things become easy, it's quite relaxing in bossing
Even a capping Bishop wouldn't be relaxed in Hard Magnus, OR Chaos Vellum.
Until the KMS patch that let's bishop telecast AR, you can never be relaxed while fighting a boss that frequently requires you to move around and dodge obstacles while attacking.
In terms of bossing, no. Every boss in this game except lotus can be soloed with relative ease. Trainning-wise, yes, more exp is always good.

And, Bishops, too, can solo every boss in this game except Lotus (with relative ease).

Among 3 adventurer mages, Bishops have the fastest attack speed, most attack lines and highest damage cap. Eventually we will reach to a stage where we surpass Arch Mages in terms of damage.
Um, from a funding standpoint I wouldn't say bishops can solo with relative ease. They do have convenient buffs but it takes quite a lot of funding to be good.

I boss with a bishop friend. Both of us unfunded and have a casual playstyle. Some bosses are like a marathon for us, I wouldn't be able to do them without a bishop. It's fun.

I find the 170 hyper and the 30% drop rate from hs to be very useful.

You don't have to be a bishop to be helpful though, just have a helpful personality. tbh, most people find helpful to be acting as a mule. Whether it be kishin mule, bind mule, hs mule, filler mule, ect. What you want is friends.
