Already disappointed
Was so excited about Red then ran into a couple problems. Found out that explorers still need mastery books and maple admin doesn't give an option to trade in old mastery books (except for ones that have been deleted for awhile like Intrepid Slash 20/30). Checked the mastery book npc, gaga, and cassandra and nothing...

I love the 100% mastery book option o.o QUESTION: Is MW there as well?

Hate to break it to you kid but... We don't play in KMS.
There's many things in KMS we don't have.
Also 1 bil isn't bad considering most books sell for 9/10mil or more for 50~70% success rate.

Uhm... I don't see the problem here.
I got an option to trade in old mastery books, but once you use it, it is gone.
This happened on all my characters. So, I traded one book (I had 2 that were available for trade because the skill was gone. If the skill isn't gone, you can't trade it), and I traded it for one book. Then, I had an option of selecting the other book or being done with trading mastery books. I chose being done and couldn't get the option back again
RED didnt get rid of ANY mastery books, they made an NPC in leafre selling them for 7/10 mils.
and those books are 100% success.
