Nintendos Pokemon X Y giveaway question

They said when you "register a product from March 1-31st" I bought the Zelda package a while ago, but never registered my system. If I wait until March 1st, will it count towards this, or won't it?

Edit: Ik that I need a system and game registered. I'm asking ahead of time if anyone has an ideas because I don't want to go out and get a game, register it, and realize that it won't work, wasting my money

So if I buy a game or get a 3ds, I can get Pokemon X or Y?
You have to register a 3ds [b]AND[/b] one of the six games they posted in the video.
Why don't you just try it?
