In need of a Winter Jacket but I dont know what kind

Hello!

So I am surviving winter so far without a Winter Jacket. I donated my old Winter Jacket to a charity back in November, I was happy when I did that.
Since last year I only worn my Jacket once or twice I was like "Hey I can wear my fall/spring jacket all winter like I did last year!" But this year the weather has been colder than what it was and seeing the forecast for the up coming weeks I need a jacket.

Since tomorrow is boxing day and I today got a $50 gift card for Christmas for a mall that is near my house I was thinking of going out and buy a Winter Jacket that is affordable and something stylish.

But the sad thing is I don't know much about Winter Jacket fashion. I see many people in the knowledge of real life fashion on basil why not help me out!

My plan is to keep the budget the $50 I got, but if need to go higher I can try.

Some information of me: I am a male and I am L size if that helps.

Kohls, Burlington, Winners, Ross (depending on where you are) are your go-to places if you want something that looks nice for cheap.

My brother got a leather jacket that has a wool interior, so it's pretty warm. But it's not quite as weather-resistant and there's no hood if you wanted one.

My winter jacket's an eddie bauer that's two jackets - an inner fleece, which I often wear without the outer part, and the outer part is thinner but is also weather resistant.

I'd just go to a clothes place like Kohls, Burlington, etc., and look at all the options

really wouldn't know about "style". I went to Burlington Coat Factory before (huge store in the mall nearby) and found a nice warm coat for 80$ (sort of black fur look? not sure how to describe it but I like it) There were also really cute coats with lace and such and cheaper ones that also looked nice for 30$. They have a huge variety so maybe you could find something "stylish" but cheap regardless there (ofc not with lace and ribbons in your case )

@BBD: There was a sale last Spring/Summer time where they went down to like $100 but that's the first time I saw that happen. Either way it's a great jacket that lasts a long time and should be in style for a while.

I took your suggestion Denali Jackets since the mall I am going to has a The North Face store.
It is $180 in Canada, but it sucks that in US site you can customize it.
Hopefully there is a sale in that store.
Get a north face lol. The Denali jackets are like around $150-$200 and they're warm, comfortable, and stylish.
TS only have $50 lols. You also have to factor in taxes. :$
I'd say to just buy from Walmart unless you can get at least 2x the amount.
Honestly, most winter jackets cost like $200+
Walmart sells winter jackets for $40.
But I want have something in style and to impress people and apparently Walmart isn't in that category when it comes to winter jackets.
