well, i mostly intended this for teens who were unhappy with their current situation, and for whatever reason were too scared to do anything about it. if you're happy with your life now, that's really great! (not being sarcastic whatsoever). if you have issues that truly cannot be changed by your own volition (social anxiety, depression, family circumstances), then i'm sorry and I hope that things will change for the better in the future, and to possibly seek outside help if you can.

as a teen, I was painfully shy and would never do anything about it, I would just wish that I was born more socially adept. after being in college, with the past year and a half possibly being the best period of my life (and overwhelmingly better than my years in high school and early college, combined) i wish I had done more to change when I was younger. I would always wait for people to contact me first, for people to invite me to things, but from observing and imitating the more socially "successful" friends in my life, they were always the ones who would make the first move and create those friendships themselves.

i definitely enjoyed my time on basilmarket, i just wish I enjoyed my offline life a lot more when I was younger!

I remember spending 30-40hrs a week playing Maple Story during my teen years. In hindsight, I probably should have worked a part time job or something.

I'm forever young in mind & adaptive to change my mind of that work to being fun

I'm glad it's over honestly, my teens years were nothing special.

You know, I think if all of us could go enjoy stuff, we would. But we're stuck here.
And how can people make this argument, then tell us that we shouldn't date in teenage years cause it's useless?

My teen years where pretty awesome. Its not bad for everyone. Heck if I could go back I would make sure it was even more epic.

I bring this up to youths all the time. Your only young once in your life. Your gonna be old the rest of it. Heck I am giving the best years of my life to the military. I get out when I am 25-26... at that point I am gonna consider myself old. Still relatively young but bleh.
