Polls work yes? Me like yes daddy.
How do you like your meat?
For steaks I usually ask for medium. Burgers I go for medium well if they ask. Medium Rare is delicious but I can't help but go with medium. I'm quite concerned yet interested with pathogens in general. I'll never understand how the Japanese eat straight up raw eggs.

I like my steak rare enough so that when you just slightly apply pressure with your knife you can see the blood oozing out.

@piana: It was 1am and I thought "well done" wasn't right because it sounded like something your teacher would say after giving a presentation.

Medium rare. Bacteria that you should be concerned with only live on the surface of the meat.
And raw eggs are pretty safe. There's only 1 in 20,000 chance of getting salmonella from eating raw eggs. And eggs from America are apparently more dangerous because the USDA requires that eggs are washed with a sanitizer before being sold, compromising the integrity of the egg shell and potentially allowing salmonella to transfer from outside to inside.
