I can't tell you what to play but advice I can give you is to not judge a character until you reach over 120 and have most skills maxed.
Hayato sounds perfect for you. Nearly all their attack skills are mobility skills, meaning they're perfect for training. Their skills send you flying everywhere so you can cross large-scale maps seamlessly.
The fun of playing a Hayato comes from trying to think on my feet and figuring out in an instant which skill(s) to use at any given situation. Have I found myself at the corner of the map with nowhere else to go? I'll use Sweeping Sword for a quick return to the center. Have I found myself below the edge of a platform and I need a way to connect to the mobs above me? I'll use Shouryuusen + Dankuusen for quick diagonal mobility. There are so many more ways to be creative. If you play them right you can continuously kill a bunch of mobs without ever having to stop moving.

Hayato is fun, flashy, amazing at mobbing and have a wide variaty of skills
