Excited for revamp?

I am and I'm not. I've heard a lot of bad things, like we lose a ton of weapon attack and %dmg. It'll be cool to have something different though =)

I do like 10m less dmg but more lines pretty much makes up for it.

Plus, seeing myself do 100m 15 times to a boss with the prey move is awesome.

Again Nexon is at again depleting skills either damage wise but it would be nice if Nexon just left it alone not just Aran but other classes as well, don't get me wrong revamp new skill(s) is nice but they should have either left damage as it was or buffed it, the more they keep tweaking stuff getting nerfed must well quit playing MS

@rokani: It's hard to explain, perhaps the feel of it? Maybe it's because I'm level 201 but I feel like the new attack skills are useless and I'm a little salty about my range dropping 100k, I just feel like we got nerfed and changed to hayatos

After playing around with the revamp for a while, I have to say I'm disappointed. Shame after all the hype. I'm glad you guys are enjoying it at least

@fumumu: Tested Adrenaline mode with 20% buff duration, it may have lasted 21 seconds but it should of lasted 23-24 so it's not working...

@raiden: To do OS>BB when the second swing starts let off the attack key and when the 3rd swing starts hold the BB key. Also OSBB+FBBB (spam FBBB till the buff is out) > OSBB > FBBB.

@lightcaress: I've had no problems with Storm of Fear other than it sometimes pulls the animation for Hunters Pry really fast then corrects itself.

So I love arans, surprisingly more than evans and I went into this update more hyped for evans. I'm seriously considering switching my main from battle mage to aran, just something so satisfying and fun about their gameplay. Adrenaline mode especially though I don't know what to really optimally do during it so I keep trying to use one of the finishers and then final blow+beyond blade. Speaking of finishers, is storm of fear glitched? everytime I try to use it all i get is what I believe to be the animation for when you stop using it/holding down the key even though I'm holding down the key. Hunter's prey is cool to use but it only hits one enemy so its basically useless to use during training...

Oh god, have you guys heard the voice acting? I'm sure it fits default Aran better but I can't stop laughing at how unfitting it sounds on mine. Final Charge is kek.
Not sure how F Aran sounds though.

The good news is RSI and Carpal Tunnel rates are down 500% with being able to hold it down. The bad news is that it doesn't even matter since I can't chain held down OS with Beyond Blade for my life. Mashing attack too late tends to lead to a basic attack instead of moving to Beyond Blade. It'll take some getting used to, since I'm guessing OSBB > FBBB. Still deciding on last hyper skill point between Heavy and Frenzied Swing.

Fun fact, Beyond Blade no longer resets if you stop attacking with it, so you can "store" the 2nd or 3rd part as long as you have the buff, which disappears when using Final Blow.

@kchen523: Yea, our active Adrenaline damage will get cleaved to 150%, effecting making our 500% total damage to half the amount.

I made my verdict: Adrenaline mode is a beast. I'm able to shred down Pink Bean. I wish I could do Chaos Zakum again. I'm having difficulty getting Swing Blow and Beyond BLade working and using the tornado skill as well.

@fumumu: I must be too tired to notice it then lol. And lets hope its a bug, otherwise those nerfs to it will be uncalled for, if they aren't already.

Actually I just fought Czak, was kinda sloppy, and killed him in 9 mins, compared to 20 last time, I don't feel stronger but I guess were pretty OP now.

@rokani: Then it's bugged. The combo activated adrenaline that is. I have the most buff duration you can get in game for Aran and the timer is the same as the skill activated Adrenaline mode.

As for the weird delay. If you activate FB through commands rather than holding swing and then use BB it's noticeably way faster. I don't know if the delay is intended. I don't see it in Korean Aran vids.

Revamp is overall good otherwise despite the huge loss in stats. Everything feels smoother and faster. I do miss tempest though. It's going to take a bit of getting used to using all the commands again. Final charge feels especially awkward. I decided I probably wouldn't be using that now that you can move while using swing so I locked it.

@fumumu: Combo activated Adrenaline Mode was defiantly affected by buff duration in KMS. The odd delay is probably from FB having a longer animation than OS.

Anyone feel OP? I sure don't lol. It is fun though.

Done some testing. The transition from swing>BB is weird if you try to hold swing down and use BB right after. There seems to be some weird delay and it feels horrible.

Combo activated Adrenaline mode is NOT affected by buff duration. Is this one a bug? This is horribly bad. The only thing that was going to make the damage boost from this revamp worth it was the fact that combo activated Adrenaline mode was affected by buff duration. I'll have to check out some old Korean Aran vids. I'm pretty sure their combo activated Adrenaline mode lasts longer than ours.

Our movesets are pretty sick now. Once you master all the skills' key combinations, our movement becomes filled with energy and commotion, it's pretty insane.

But as expected, the cut to our damage is pretty severe; It was disappointing to find out I no longer hit max on bosses with physical resistance (i.e. Empress, CRA, etc.). Adrenaline Rush remedies this somewhat with the temporary +400% damage boost, but even this will get nerfed to +150% later.

@rianael: Our drain's been terrible for a while now =/

Wow. The revamp isn't half bad, gameplay-wise. Huge improvement training and bossing. Huge. No need to spam your attack key! Constant movement by holding one key! OS to FB is back! With all the improvements in gameplay, I don't mind losing attack from our skills, our crit chance, our boss damage, or our status resistance(future patch) lol.

Negatives:
Our drain is terrible now, I'm finding myself using potions if I don't have a mob near me. I either need more maxHP or more weapon/magic defense on my equips w/ starforce.

I'll be happy that OSFBBB, granted its really just smash > BB, will be useful again. Also changes to the mechanics of some of the skills will be nice, Judgment probably the best.

Only thing I dislike is the loss of 20% status res, as I will now have to use hyper points on status res and with the loss of some crit rate I can't take points from crit =/ at best I'll be able to get to 99% status res, maybe I should buy status res pots? >.>

The only thing that makes me sob is that drop in status resistance, but considering they're trying to make characters with passive 40% and ones with buffs 50-60% I guess it makes sense.

However it's been far too long to now just change it honestly. It's more just annoyance for me, but still it's not gonna make me hate mine for over little things!

It's more hits per second so better for the funded and worse for the unfunded.faster hits at lower damage. The status resist decrease sucks tho.

When i heard about the revamp i got my Aran to 170 quickly but then lost motivation for two reasons. The first being the finger pain! Second, the nerf to our skills and damage. My aran, at the time, was my strongest character that I planned on funding. I stopped playing it from then on but I will return to it for the revamp, the nerfs wont sting as much since i haven't played on it in almost a year? I agree with you on it looking and feeling different. I really like the way there heading with the mobility while attacking and cant wait to test it out. I just wish they didn't apply the second nerf to adrenaline mode and remove our +att boosts.
