Quality animation by Shaft
I usually don't mind animations by Shaft (i actually didn't have problems with them animating Bakemonogatari and Nisekoi)
This QUALITY animation though....(from the beginning of Mekakucity Actors episode 9)

If they were trying for something new, they failed miserably. The animation is so bad I lol-ed

I wouldn't be surprised if MCA's budget was cut due to poor BD preorders.
Just look at Blade & Soul. If anyone still watches it, the latest episode was the laziest animation I've seen in a long time.

it's like they (=Shaft) didn't even try. The vocals were fine though.
it was suppose to be a 3D look to it. so they were trying to make it seem like it was more real? but then it might be ironic because the memory might have never existed. omg i just solved the biggest mystery of the world.
^ I read it was supposed to look like a kid's drawing. They could have done a much better job than this though. Maybe they decided to lower the budget for an anime they know won't sell well, and the result is this crappy CG
Supposedly, the use of the horrid CG was a jab at CG-based anime like Sidonia and Arpeggio.
The animation for that scene still felt out of place, so I don't know what Shaft was aiming for.

I don't pay attention to who is animating what. Except Key, only a demon could hate Key.
I'm glad it wasn't just me, but am I the only one that noticed how often the characters tilt their heads?
I like head tilts.

you CAN make some cases for some bad shots tho

and dont even mention the atrocity that was soul eater not's battle animation in ep... 6/7 i think?
This animation, it's not even close to how bad princess lover was when I watched it.
I couldn't stop laughing when I saw that happen. Thankfully they switched back after the opening.
