We kissed yesterday, now she wants to be friends
So we met yesterday and i thought we were getting along well.
Theres a bit of an age difference and she did comment on how young I look and what her family would say, but we ended up kissing and hanging out.
Today she says she just wants to be friends
I told her I feel like guys and girls can't genuinely be friends and I regret it because I really do like her
TL;DR - we kissed yesterday, now she wants to be friends

She isn't..I think it might be the age difference shes young looks young as hell but she's 29 and I'm 20 lol. I do look kinda young for my age on top of it. She kept mentioning it and said I look cute and have nice eyes and bullsh like that. We hit it off pretty nicely, and she asked me to come to her church on sunday, I didn't reply. I've never felt this way about any other girl got me fc'd up in the head lol I feel like such a fcn btch
She is currently talking/seeing/interested in another person but they aren't official
back off for a while, then continue as normal.
if she rejects you again, move on.

I smell heteronormativity
With that kind of logic, I wouldn't be able to be "just friends" with like 75% of my friends, because they're either bi or gay as heck
Boom, there, I said it
OT: Who knows, she might have thought about it a bit and thought she would rather be friends. Feelings can change, just give it time.
Friends with benefits?
was she drunk?
Yeah I don't know how else you'd know if a girl was your girlfriend until they kissed you.
I'm out.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLAYYYYYYYYYYYY
@PashySpirit: It's just biology.
Well. Not the worst that could happen.
You might've ended up sleeping together, and then made her realize she's a man trapped in a woman's body.

OT: Was she Asian?
You should look at real life, but if you want to believe all men to be so shallow, be my guest.
Girls and guys can definitely be friends, it's just harder after a break up. And yes, if guys and girls are friends for a long time, they *may* develop feelings for each other but I guarantee this is not always the case. I repeat, guys and girls can most definitely stay friends.
First of all, guys and girls CAN genuinely be friends.

It sounds like she is rethinking her actions from yesterday- sometimes people do spontaneous things that they regret later. You two just met after all. If she wants to be friends, you can either respect that or drop friendship completely. There may be a time in the future when you can try asking her out, but choosing to pursue her romantically right now will only lay on unnecessary pressure and may cause her to start disliking you. Get to know each other and your own feelings better.
she probably liked the friendship you had with her and when you guys kissed, she realized she wasnt ready for you or to lose you.
it may not seem like it, but it is.
and girls and guys can be friends. even after break ups. but its honestly really rare. we just choose not to move on from feelings that arent mutual, so it ends up being that way.
better start making out with an apple for practice
