If you read what baklava said in the thread:

"Still misleading.It's weaker because of less % per hit, but more hits is better in the end." (Baklava).

As stated by someone else, %s of attacks are misleading. You can't determine any damage dps/ dpm over raw %s written. Generally, the more times an attack hits the better (as it heightens the chance of crit and with decent funding, multiple hits makes a huge impact ).

My point was that there are bms with less funding that tank harder than better funded mercedes. Mercedes are very overestimated....

Also, after justice, f/ps get further buffed and paralyze hits 4 times (slight damage reduction) and mist explosion hits 6 times. You can't really compare his character to another after a huge patch changes skills....

I know quite a few funded mercedes with well over 100+ bil to their name. Mercedes are one of the most overestimated classes in maplestory at the moment. I know plenty of bms with less % dex that destroy them

You can't ever judge a class by sheer % of damage since funding completely changes up the playing field.

Also, f/ps dot works best on pb statues/ actual pb and bosses with high pdr. Bleve has a video at pb demonstrating the very underestimated mage class

People say evans are stronger than i/ls now.... If you have a ton of funding, the mage with the most hits that attacks fastest is the strongest (meaning bams than i/s ).

Evans are overestimated by %age in their attacks while i/ls/ f/ps/ and bams are underestimated. Blizard has over 1000% of damage... It barely hits three times harder than each hit of chain lightning

As of now I'm already outdamaging my funded hero with my am with 4 hitting chain lightning (and since magic attack/ godly mage stuff is dirt cheap <3). 6 hitting chain lightning = insane.

Not to mention that mages also get a future 30% crit boost (and with 25% crit from chain lightning and 5% passive crit, they will be up to a whopping 60% crit o.o)

Exactly. I never saw any Battle Mages complaining except for Advanced Blue Aura being useless for bossing (Something about a 1/1 glitch).
