Super Mario Galaxy 2 good? Other recommendations?
I got a $25 giftcard to gamestop but I only have a wii and a DS so not looking to buy any new systems but games for those two. I played the first galaxy game but I was wondering if the second was as good as I heard. If not, it'd be great to have some other recommendations for wii or DS thanks!

Zelda games are fun
the general consensus is that Galaxy 2 is a much better, more refined game
it just came out second, so the mind-blowing novelty of Mario in Space doesn't apply to it
I honestly couldn't stand the 1st game. Got the 2nd one just to try it out (specifically towards recommendations) and really enjoyed it. So far, two weeks in and being the completion freak that I am, refuse to finish the game until I pick up every star beforehand.
I like galaxy 1 over 2, stupid green stars...Its still a fun game though, you should definitely buy it. For the DS, Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story is awesome.
I personally love SMG 2 compared to SMG. It's much easier with co-op compared to SMG, and solo-wise, I'd say SMG was a tad harder.
tbh I found the first Galaxy far better than the second
but that's just me
i've totally forgotten all wii and ds games :[ i can only think of Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks for the DS
i got it when it was new and the game is fun to play
i gave the game to my 10 y/o sister and now she's
obsessed about it
