i'm constantly at ends with my actions and how i am perceived by others. here's an example: i didn't really start listening to music until 9th grade so as i started listening to stuff, i tried to base my music tastes more towards what was 'hip' on basil at the time (so animal collective and stuff like that which was circle jerked around). since then i've always tried to concern with how my music tastes affect people's perceptions of me and i'm still quick to dismiss music for unknown reasons, possibly because it has that 'mainstream pop taste' to it. i've stalked spotify playlists of the 'hip' people and started to listen to some of their stuff which i actually ended up enjoying but i have a hard time developing my individual taste and branching out to stuff without relying on others. i always have to ask myself if i really enjoy/dislike something or whether it is just me trying to focus on the image my music taste creates. /endrant

im extremely observant and perceptive of my surroundings, attuned to the moments of craziness i frequently find. i can't tell if that's a quality, because i care too much about stuff that shouldn't matter.

In high school I used to hang out with a bunch of potheads, everyone in school thought i was one of em and smoked but I never did, and i couldnt get out of that group of freinds, I just wanted to be with another group but its hard once ure labeled as one of those kids. eventually in college i started smoking weed and do it wenever but i jus wondered what it wuda been like to hang out with my other freinds group and stuff.

...why is everyone talking about driving permits?

I don't have a driving permit

I got my permit summer of my 15th bday. License the next year. I actually failed my first driving exam as a guy, which I think is a little embarrassing.

I got my driver's permit right after I turned 16, so now I have to hold it for a year (well, until this summer) and now I'll only have a car for senior year.

The law should be that if you are 15, you can get your driver's permit with the classes but then you have to hold it for a year AND get 50 hours of driving.
Then if you're 16, you can get your permit without classes and you need 50 hours of driving BUT you don't need to hold it for a year.
Then it's the same if you're 17.
Then if you're 18 you have to drive 10 hours, then pass the test, then you can just get your license.
