Zeros are probably the exception here. I haven't put any funds on my Zero at all and it's so strong... or maybe it feels that way because it's attacking with so many skills.

I feel Kanna, BT, and Bishop all fall into the support class, as they have impressive support buffs but mediocre damage.
There's also a significant difference between mobbing and bossing damage, compare Luminous to NW. While it's true that we generally value bossing capability more, if you plan to actually rank the classes it's important to keep in mind that mobbing dps also matters to certain people.
I agree somewhat on the average statement, ignoring the outliers like NW and Zero on the high end, and support classes on the low end, MS classes generally fall within a reasonable range dps wise.
Bowmasters are not terrible if unfunded. They need much more stats added to be able to cap but that doesn't entail that you need to be capping to take on the majority of non end game bosses anyways. If comparing apples to oranges, I would put them somewhat on par with phantoms or kaisers in that they have high dps potential but really need insane stat boosts to reap the benefits. Unfortunately, to do end game bosses however, bowmasters need quite a bit more funding wise than other classes. For example, I've seen threads saying that a night walker with a 800k-1.2mil range can potentially hellux. A bowmaster would require more than twice that range to efficiently hellux.

lolwut? You know that BMs have better DPS than NLs right? They're even with NWs...
I/L are actually good bossers because of elemental reset so you don't need to fund that much. BM on the other hand are one of the best bosser, but requires a ton of funding to hit their potential.
BM are still pretty good unfunded. Considering that they have low dps, they make up for in HPS(Dorothy killers) i/l are not that bad when they are unfunded, the 4th job ice orb is still op after the nerf; and it's okay if you're a weak i/l, you can always change classes or bind at hard magnus( for people and get capes or money)

[edit]: To add on to the i/l, if you're gonna bind for money or capes, you can use those capes to fund yourself (future characters or sell off for mesos to fund your main character) GL figuring something and Good Day.
I'm just curious is all because I thought about making either of those 2 for bossing purposes but not being able to deal a decent amount would be discouraging, Either way I'm still making an explorer, just wanted to hear some thoughts and experiences. As for what you said Scottzay I'm a Bishop lol

BMs are good funded and unfunded. Ppl that say otherwise are either the typical parroters of misinformation or don't know what they are talking about.
