When you play League of Legends
Does anyone feel that they get WORSE (skill level wise) if they play too much League of Legends?
So this entire week I started playing League of Legends on weekdays again and I feel like I've gotten worse. I play for about 5 hours each sitting (~5-6 games) and throughout the week I've been progressively getting worse. Whenever I used to only play on weekends or came back from breaks, my mind was really clear and I'd be a lot smarter but right now after finishing a 5 hour League session (with lots of defeats), I feel like I'm rushing into things and doing stupid plays. It might also be due to frustration from all the defeats...
Anyone else feel this way? Anyone got a reasonable explanation as to why this happens?
P.S. This is also my theory as to why veteran League players slowly get worse at the game while new players/teams are good.

Just watch SKT Faker play you'll learn
thats y i play tf2 moderately
If i start to play a lot, my skill lvl goes down.
No more mlg 360 hs after 5 hrs of playing
I start to get more frustrated
I don't play league of legends but when i do play league of legends i don't play league of legends.
Unranked counts as silver. So it's not unusual to play against silver, gold, bronze as an unranked person
unranked isnt silver o.o u just get agaisnt people of your skill according to MMR, the more normals you play the more accurate your MMR becomes
i can confirm it as an unranked for life, its extremely rare i get agaisnt silvers, most i go against are plats, some gold some diamond, ive even seen masters and challengers
one season i decided to play ranked only 10 times to get placed somewhere and got G3 even though i lost many matches and i have friends who get placed on silver even if they win all their matches, its all on the MMR o.o
You're tilted af
just take a break, and be back booming
Normal matchmaking has an mmr regardless of rank. You can be unranked and only play against diamonds and challengers. That is separate from actual from ranked mmr.
OT: Tilt.
1.how you get good at the game depends on how fast you pick up on mistakes, tips and tricks, etc.
2. you have to keep your views open, not a small bubble, so you dont make any dumb mistakes/make better decisions
3.watch streams/better decision making
4. dont be stubborn and play while youre on tilt... its how i went from gold 2 promos back down to gold 5.
5. dont only just play league.. lol this goes back to #2 so just play other games to keep your head clear

Usually happens to me if I can't adjust to the meta fast enough.
Okay maybe not 1 hour each game...that was a super rough estimate
Thats how i feel when i play shooters. One day ill make head rolls the next day I get more body shots than models.
Take a break and go murder some slimes.
Sounds like a classic case of tilt. Take a break.
Not really. I'm in Plat 4 and i don't feel like im getting worst. You should be getting better with each game if you pay attention to your mistakes. And like the guy above me said. 1+ hour games? You or your team doesn't know the meaning of taking objectives.
one hour each game?
that's the problem
You're tilted.
Edit: also, pretty sure league veterns getting worse is due to all the meta changes.
