On a semi-related note, Tales of Symphonia: Chronicles (compilation of the original and Dawn of the New World) for PS3 is getting a dual audio (first ever for a Tales game) release in NA and EU in a few months. Here's to hoping for Xillia 2 dual audio as well.

@Davyn: Oh nice. One reason I got into the Tales series in the first place was because I kind of liked how they said what skill they were using. I thought it was cool.

Tale of Symphonia was one of my favorite games for the gamecube. I can't wait for the PS3 release! Tales of Xillia, eh not a big fan of it, but definitely can't wait for ToS:C
I might get a PS3 just for Xilia. (And Tales of Graces f and maybe Symphonia) <3 <3 <3 :

P.S: What's Dual Audio
If you enjoy JRPG's, PS3 is the way to go. August is going to be huge with JRPG releases.

Dual Audio is where the game allows you to switch between English voice dubbing and the original Japanese voices. Many fans have been begging for it for years due to some sub-par performances (although most are fairly decent) and just wanting to hear the original cast (Milla being voices by Miyuki Sawashiro is a huge one), but Bamco has turned a blind eye to them until now.
The collectors edition pre-orders ran out within the first week of the announcement and they have not made a single promotional video (as per usual Bamco) for the game. It was reason enough for Baba to throw caution to the wind and go with it.

I assume most of the pre-orders were due to the fact that Baba was hanging the entire series over a cliff. He basically told western fans that if Xillia did not sell well he would not be considering localizations again.

Xillia is certainly not the cream of the crop. It was rushed to meet deadlines for the series anniversary and was lacking in many parts, though it was certainly not terrible by any means. Graces f and Vesperia are probably the only releases to out class it. Xillia 2, on the other hand, is considered their magnum opus. As I've read and seen from videos it is phenomenal in almost every way. One of the best main characters (Ludger), some great music, a well polished combat system (though possibly a step back from Graces f's CC system as they brought back TP), and basically a sequel done right.
oh i liked the CC system in graces tho it was unique the tp system has been around forages not that i have a problem with it i wish they would localize tales of vesperia f for ps3 i honestly think tales rivals final fantasy tales always has such a loveable cast

Right. It's a shame it's not going on Wii U considering Namco's involvement in Smash Bros.

Xilla's not bad, imo.

I'm so excited for ToS:C
ToX and ToX2 seem cool too.

I want them to remake TotA and ToD for PS3 and send over a PS3 version of ToD2.
