Anyone find it ironic?

...that Nexon deletes hacked items, only to make it possible to create legit items with the stats of hacked items. A fully enhanced tyrant equip has 190 m/att and 170 stats.

I remember there used to be a mass duped 217 attack VIP katara circulating the fm. Now you can easily scroll a 200+ attack katara, or make a shoe that has nearly the same amount of attack, and 170 all stat.

I have to say though, it is a necessary marketing measure. You still have to spend $700 on the item, only difference is you're paying Nexon instead of the hackers.
Actually, there are many stuff they didn't delete but diminished their worth instead by introducing newer and better items at a lower cost.

27 atk vss weren't heavily deleted and were replaced by tyrant shoes
glitched duped CHTPs were replaced by gollux
duped doms were replaced by gollux
Duped 5 atk GM scrolls were replaced by many event scrolls
Duped racc masks somewhat replaced by sw (and 10 all stat scrolls)
Duped osfa top/bottom with high stats replaced by RA set.

And many other examples
Interesting perspective. When you put it that way I'd rather have the new equips than the duped ones. Also not sure if they intended to do this but all of the new equips are tradeblock/psok needed so they are more of a hassle to sell if duped.

that makes so much sense. No wonder nexon keeps on releasing higher level/stronger items

It doesn't matter how much they "make you spend", an illegitimate item is still an illegitimate item.

So... You find it ironic and then you justify it? Kudos.

They're a company, companies try to make money. It's simple life.

like a year ago you had to be carefull for every godly item in the FM that it wasn't duped, and if you spended all your mesos on one, and it got deleted later, nexon was like 'its your own fault for buying duped items' while its their fault that they cant handle their hackers and let those items in

It's not really Nexon, Nexon's hack prevention techniques are outdated and hackers make it look like people are getting too good. So they raise the bar for everyone
