Ayame, new sengoku class

Pretty sure she's a pirate. She uses a gun after all.

So JMS is currently patching. Or something. Either way, wheeee late-night translation.

These are several new skills/skill changes that have been added to JMS as of today. There's also [some of] the skills that the new Sengoku class has, according to [url=http://uni-wz.com/#JMS326_10]Silver Bullet[/url].
[there's also a new boss, antagonist to her as Ranmaru is to Kanna.]
All skill %s and durations are evidently at max level. I have no idea where the rest of the skill list is. I think they're going to update that list on the blog post later today, as Max does on his skill lists on his blog--or I hope so, anyway. If they do, I will as well.

Nou-Hime's soul weapon skill:
Nou-hime's Wingbeat
Summons Nou-hime for 120 seconds. She will attack monsters for 2000% damage. 300 second cooldown.

Skills usable ONLY IN THE NOU-HIME EXPEDITION:

Power word: Mars
A skill imbued with the power of Mars. Only usable by warriors. Quickly strikes 3 times with the equipped weapon.
Deals 333% damage 3 times. On bosses, also reduces their damage-on-hit by an amount equivalent to 5% of your current HP. Cooldown of 180 seconds.

Power word: Mercury
A skill imbued with the power of Mercury.
Recover 600 HP per second for 10 seconds. Can be used to recover HP of targets besides the user. 30 second cooldown.

Power word: Saturn
A skill imbued with the power of Saturn. Only usable by Pirates. Envelops the target in a black aura which saps life away.
Drains 2000 HP per second for 10 seconds. When used in conjunction with Thief dungeon skills [yes, it says Thief], adds 300% additional damage. 30 second cooldown.

Power word: Venus
A skill imbued with the power of Saturn. Drains HP from enemies suffering poison status.
Drains 2000 HP per second from up to 5 enemies at once. When used in conjunction with Pirate dungeon skills [yes, it says Pirate], adds 300% additional damage. 30 second cooldown.

Power word: Jupiter
A skill imbued with the power of Jupiter. Only usable by Bowmen. Can prevent monsters in the Hieizan Temple from using skills.
Deals 415% damage 1 time on up to 6 enemies. Silences monsters in Hieizan Temple. 30 second cooldown

{AYAME}

Flower Rifle - Ren
Multi-stage skill. Swings your rifle like a blade, striking 3 times. When a struck monster is knocked back, an explosion hits it and surrounding monsters, dealing damage.
First use: 120% x2 on up to 4 enemies
Second use: 140% x2 on up to 4 enemies
Third use: 160% x2 on one enemy
Fourth use: 180% x3 on one enemy. When the enemy is knocked back, it explodes, dealing 200% x4 to up to 4 enemies.

Flower Rifle - Kan
Focuses your ki to maximize penetrating power, then damage enemies in a line in front of you.
720% damage 3 times on up to 8 enemies, cooldown of 3 seconds

Flower Rifle - Geki
Extremely high-power shot used specifically when targeting Nou-hime. Concentrates your ki to the limit, firing a blast that reaches an extremely far distance ahead of you.
10,000% damage 1 time against 1 enemy. 100% critical rate. Cooldown of 30 seconds

Flower Rifle - Hyou
Fires a bullet that saps the heat away from the air around it. Damage and freezes enemies in front of you.
640% damage 4 times to up to 15 enemies. 100% chance to freeze for 10 seconds. 10 second cooldown. [I have no idea wtf this exists for.]

Flower Rifle - Shou
[Flash jump. Passively adds 35% speed, 20% max speed, 20 jump]

Vengeful Conviction
Steels yourself for you imminent revenge, increasing your own magic and weapon attack in addition to your party members'.
For 600 seconds, increases magic/weapon attack by 10%.

Flower Rifle Secret Technique [or: Trump Card]: Burst
-Upon using this skill, you release your ki and enter a frenzied state. While holding this skill, you unleash a storm of attacks. While in this state, you cannot move. Running out of time or using another skill will cancel the buff.
For 10 seconds, deal 2000% damage one time per attack instance on 1 enemy. 100% critical hit rate, 60 second cooldown.

That was the end of the list. Again, I dunno what the heck is up with the short and undetailed list that the guy wrote, and if there's more when I check back later, I'll edit this one as well.

Now the real question is whether I can anvil a regular gun into one of Ayame's giant ass rifles.

What do you mean by short and undetailed? It's as detailed as he can get (plus each skill being MAX at lv1). The skills are categorised as miscellaneous skills (i.e beginner skills?).

As already been discussed several times, Ayame is not an actual class and is merely a preview of what may or may not come. It seems that there's nothing else that defines what class she is either in the extractions. Though she IS wielding a gun... speculating that she is a pirate seems rather logical. However the clothing she wears is quite similar to what you wear in Kyuudo.

Aww, so depressing. It's kinda true though. Still a lot of fun to play Hayato and Kanna though, definitely. I guess when you don't have a dedicated development team (unlike KMS presumably does) it's hard to find time to go off on a jolly and make (or buff) some classes just because. They must be busy just doing the day to day stuff, like maintenance, bug fixing, patching etc.

Also, no matter how bad it is it can't be worse than some of the tutt EMS churns out.

Also, if Ayame is created that'd make her the first gun-toting Pirate that doesn't suck?

I thought Ayame was going to be a playable character in a dungeon; if he class gets enough good feedback they'll flesh her out some more and turn her into an actual class (from what I've read on Southperry)
Regardless I'm hoping that she is an actual class (homg the musket bayonet <3 <3 )
