Range to Solo V2
My DB friend has 1.4m range and can solo V2. Do I need a comparable range on my phantom to do the same?

@Beheilor Good scrolled Tyrant and good pot tyrant boost your range more than empress even though there's no set for tyrant.
@iEatNoobz: I realize Asura is ridiculous DPM, but as you noticed and mentioned, I said strictly blaster vs PB... plus, PB isn't all that far behind Asura, it definitely trumps Asura in terms of hits/second (not even including using a green MPE pot and a faster dagger/dSI/some sort of speed increase). You also have to think about how phantoms can remove DR with vol d'arme, which can greatly increase DPM

The major difference if you have to take out a good portion of empress's health and the V1 minions. That makes getting to and finishing the real V2s drastically harder.

Asura adds a lot of DPM to DBs, so a straight comparison of blaster and PB would be incorrect.
I know you said strictly blaster vs PB, but still, Asura is a giant chunk of DB's dmg.

500-700k with 200%+ boss
DB should be able to solo ~1m with high boss
well... comparing strictly PB vs arrow blaster/turret (let's assume you use that since it's the best DPS) and you have 100% crit... blaster/turret combo is about twice the number of hits/second as PB (roughly speaking) so you'd need about half that range, this is totally theoretical
Well i think i was able to solo evo v2 using about 300k 97% boss.
