Yeah, scumbags are everywhere. Someone contacted me in-game with a very compelling reason as to why my "account was being deleted", in an attempt to phish my account information.

Pretty much. They only seem to chat to them if they're feeling sadistic, and a ban shortly follows. There's no way they're going to discuss or let you talk your way out of anything, which is something I find rather saddening but then again I guess no bad guys would get banned as well as no good guys under that system.

Personally messaging one of your multiple characters of your account in game just has that official "vibe" to it, ya kno.
