Anyone else addicted to skipping class?

Yeah. In high school I ditched quite a lot. Freshman year was like once or twice a week or so. I just forged absence notes, lol. I toned it down to about to about 2-3 times a month when I got older. Now that I'm in college, I skip as much as humanly possible. For my econ class, I literally only went like 5 times, which was the first couple of days, the midterm and final.

I have never been able to during high school because I'd get kicked out of the medical program I'm in if I'm caught skipping class.

@Boss: The money you're paying is for a lot of things, but that doesnt really matter seeing as you already paid and if you took out student loans your credit is in the gutter now AND you owe ppl money.

@WontPostMuch: as long as you know man.

Mark wise, how did you fair?[/quote]

Yeah. I didn't skip much when there were tests. Well, actually sometimes I did skip for tests, and I could retake them with my excuse notes. This actually gave me more time to study when I was procrastinating. As for hw, you just tell the teacher you weren't there and turn it in late. lol. Marks wise, I was top 100 in senior ranks. Now, that's not good at all, but not too shabby considering I wasn't a tryhard nerd. I did take a couple of APs and honors classes. My SAT was pretty legit on top of that, considering I didn't study. I went to UCSC. No, not USC. the one with the slug mascot

The rest of you keep hatin and making fast food jokes while you at community college. rofl.

Oh my you're such an awesome human being. Have fun paying insanely amounts of school debts for an education you don't have.

I don't skip, I just oversleep and show up halfway into the lecture. The professor just waves hello and asks how my breakfast was, then he continues on.
I love my school c:

I remember this one dude from my HS skipped a whole week and a half (enough for him to fail some classes) so he could practice for a SSBB tournament (AKA play by himself mastering techniques for the game). Never felt sadder for someone in my whole life.

I never skipped in high school. In university it became a vicious cycle sometimes.

Don't worry, I'm very good at being irresponsible with money so I can do that too (unfortunately p srs). For the record though, I don't think it's anything worth bragging about and fully admit it was a very stupid decision.

After I submitted my college apps during senior year of high school, I got major senioritis. I had at least 80 tardies and 20-30 absences during my last semester. My school was really bad at sending out truancy letters, so I only received one warning letter at the very end of the year.

As for college, the fact that most of my classes provide webcasts online makes it very hard for me to actually want to go to class.
