Secondary stat still required?
I made a Bandit recently, remembering how much fun I had with my old bandit prior to deleting it for personal reasons. Seeing in the Tempest patch that there will be no secondary stat requirements, I thought to myself "Hell yeah, that means no str and still wear a cursayer!"
So I make a bandit and I am looking for a new dagger at Lv 50 and...what do you know, our daggers require dex and str.
So what's the deal nexon, do we not get to have cool things or does every other class get to reap the benefits of no secondary stats and not Dagger Theives?
I mean, it only took about 4 years for theives to be acknowledged and begrudgingly given a patch that turned out to leave the class a sham of the glory days and get rid of defining skills. Go revamp archers and take away sharp eyes and feast on those life-extending tears.
As it stands, I am at a horrible point right now where I've only pumped points into luck with my foolish assumption that we will benefit just like every other class. Cant wear either dagger at 50 since both require dex and str.
Is there a snowball's chance in hell that Nexon will actually change this and just let things be a cosmetic appearance, not actually forcing you to choose one or the other?

wut. He meant that items that both GMS and KMS have had the secondary stat removal applied to, but items that came from JMS/MSEA and GMS exclusive items still require secondary stats, for example, the khanjar and dkhanjar still req str and dex

Did you not see me write only KMS items got their secondary stars removed. It's 1 thing to be misinformed but its another thing when you try to correct someone who was telling the truth.
You are the one who is so wrong.
What they are trying to say is: Items that are GMS exclusive, like Elemental Staves and Khanjars were not affected the the Tempest Patch that removed secondary stat requirements. Same goes for other Maplestory versions with an exclusive equip which does not exist in KMS.

I can't find the post but I did see another topic on this awhile back where some of the str daggers had the dex requirement removed but the str one was left on for some reason. Unfortunate but with character cards and the cannoneer link getting the required str is pretty easy ;x
If it helps, i'll look around for any of my old daggers, you're more than welcome to them for free.
Only KMS items got secondary stats required. Jms/GMS/Mesa equips etc still have the requirements.
I used a sai dagger without any str. I think the only items for us that require dex or str are the NLC daggers and khanjar/d khanjar.
