I personally love hayatos.. Mines currently lvl 200 range clean is 464k... I plan on keeping him my main cause I believe eventually we will get a buff or revamp to make us on par with other warriors.. So to all the pro Yatos out there... DONT LOSE FAITH OR FOCUS! OUR TIME WILL COME!

I play Hayato because it's a fun class to me and I just love Katanas, I'm one of those who doesn't care much about damage so, try it out it's great!

@danboy137: it cause ive haven't funded a warrior in a while and I know the hayato is pretty weak compared to the others I thought it would need more funding

@FrostLife: Speed never makes up for DPS. The attack speed on Shinsoku (our 1v1 skill) is actually really low (920 ms at normal 6 speed).
i guess a majority of you guys say this is a weak class. but I think the speed makes up for a bit of it. I have about 15bil funding do you guys think it'll be enough to achieve a good range/ decent damage? like if I can hit 800-1mil damage with the main mobbing skill Thats good enough for me
i think that amount is a lil overkill then again i didnt try to hit a mill yet on my hayato i would think 2b and some event abuse might be sufficient

In regards to above, willow dodge is actually fixed so it procs the normal 65% on all dodges.
WHAT. WHEN WAS THIS FIXED

Okay, so basically Hayato's are extremely balanced. Like tbh u would need a lot of funding to do some decent damage. There very fun though. I got him to such a high level than stopped because i spent to much mesos on him and didnt get the expected outcome. Tbh hayato's are very friendly as well (People playing them). Gear is cheap and there so mobile as well. They actually have very good buffs that can get u to 100% critic. o.o ye ikr. And there buffs and attack have a lot of after affects so its really nice. I had around 32k range and i was hitting 40-60k first line 70-80k second line and just below or sometimes above 100k the last line. There a great class and have decent amount of combos.
Pros
Harder Gameplay
More Party Play because of the difficulty of the new update (Against bosses too and I think that's very good because bosses aren't meant to solo. Like bosses should be party played.)
New content

Cons
Probably a hard class to fund. Like to be normal we need a lottttt of funding
party play is probably the best for hayato's

I think dw would be a better choice because they are actually similar but i noticed more stronger in terms of damage output. Considering the fact that hayato are balanced to below normal class
I moved on from hayato but still i always look back
Hayatos are really fun to train, but hard to fund. The range you will get is a bit off since shimada's heart affects it. Once you get 9999 def, there will be a 49.5% increase in your max range and your min range will stay the same. So your range will end up being very wide. They are very good at mobbing and their mobility is very high. The hitoriki strike cd reduction is nice because now I can one shot rows at hoh. It hits 15 mobs btw.
In regards to above, willow dodge is actually fixed so it procs the normal 65% on all dodges.
There are some interesting applications in bossing even though it's probably one of the worst warrior bossing classes.
overall, very enjoyable class ^^
Since i don't play hayato as my main, i wanted to ask if willow dodge actually procs the damage buff to stack 5 times. Yesterday i very, VERY rarely got the buff to stack more then once. Even with sitting directly on a mob or aways from it to allow it to attack me. In Evo link 3 i actually could not get the buff at all, OR did they fix the proc rate for dodging and forget to fix the proc rate for the damage buff you receive from said dodge?

Pros: First to Third Job are ridiculously fun. I blazed through them with glee. The play style is neat and feels like a cooler version of the skill-chaining mechanic that Thunder Breakers use.
Dodge mechanic is pretty cool for warriors to have, and much more appropriate to see on a samurai character.
After 177, you'll pretty much have 100% crit 100% of the time.

Con: For the early levels, you'll need a Jr. Boogie familiar before you can get anywhere. Hayatos use MP like it's water.
As stated above, 4th job is currently rather weak. It's roughly equivalent to the state of the game prior to the Unleashed update (or perhaps around the Ascension or whatever it was called). There's apparently supposed to be an update to Sengoku content for JMS in May or whatever but I've seen no details about it.
Two of our most important buffs are passively activated, and this is dependent on dodging attacks. Note that I mean the GUARD dodge, which is super low for us. The 65% flat dodge chance we get from the same skills is a different kind of dodge and doesn't proc the buffs.

I had about 175k range, and I think like 60% pdr. With crits (You will pretty much have 100% crit at 177) I was hitting around 650k-920k if I recall correctly.

@weredoggy do you know much much range you would need to hit 1mils with your mobbing attack?

Pro: awesome 1st, 2nd, and 3rd jobs. Very powerful. Lots of custom combos and flashy moves. Fastest class in Maple imo. Really strong and mobile with funding. Coolest weapons ingame imo. Nice cheap mount, Battoujutsu+mount passive mobbing. Really fun to play and easy to level up with training
Con: 4th Job isn't as strong as compared to other classes. Really bad bossing (little PDR, no boss damage, that Battoujustu Stance kills me at bosses with DR). Also after 100 levels of using Sanrenzan, it wasn't that fun anymore.

try out Hayato!
