Do people even need 9498% PDR??
The thread title is 94% to 98% pdr
Hi guys, so I just used over 30 to 40 cubes on my secondary weapon and I finally got 3 perfect lines. I was looking for ATT% and Boss damage% but I've gotten Boss 40%, ignore 30%, ignore 30%. My emblem is 18% att and 2h sword has 35% ignore, att 9%, and crit 9%.
I know chaos vellum has the highest pdr and I heard you need 90% at least. Do you need more than 90~92% pdr to do more damage on Chaos vellum? If not, should I still recube it? ugh

doesnt matter as long as you do 25-30m lines on Cvellum youre good i guess, no matter what your rang, % att % crit or w/e is

Has 93%. Never had any issues.
@bleute: Your main bossing skill has 50% IED with the IED hyper, so that's effectively 94% IED, which is optimal.
Yeah, that's not a typical case.
I have 88% and it's good enough.
@darksword: Hard Damien has 330% PDR, which is the highest of all bosses so far (including Hard Lotus).

For most endgame players the balancing of IED vs damage usually ends up with the player making a choice on the Emblem.
Is 2 lines of IED + 1 line of %ATT better, or is 2 lines of %ATT and 1 line of IED better?
That really depends on your stats, but the more %ATT you have, the better it is to take 2 lines of IED.
Usually the optimal amount of IED is around 95% for people with 80-100%+ ATT.
@hyperactivity the "third form" that has 1000% PDR is just for show like Lotus "fourth form".
For the first two legitimate phases of Damien has 300% PDR which is equal to Chaos Vellum.
The values for the PDR came from Orange Mushroom Blog and the information of the "third body" is from multiple defeat videos of Normal Mode Damien or Storyline Damien on YouTube.

92-93 is optimal, but people usually go with 90-94. 98 is overkill
It comes down to your range. If you have low range then 90% pdr might not be enough for Cvel solo. But if you have extremely high range, then 90% pdr will suffice.
Pdr is essential for Cvel/lotus/Dorothy and the upcoming boss who will have the highest pdr in game called Damien.
93% is usually the sweet-spot for most people, but you can make due with 90+, 98 is probably overboard.
98% is overkill and you can manage with 90% (or lower if you have like 50% pdr on skills) but 95% is nice for bosses like Cvel, Lotus and the new boss coming to GMS, Damien.
