Whats Your Opinion On Campers?

Personally, I think it's okay on permit stores because the person who has it set up could easily d/c at any time and then the spot would be available. But for hired merchants I consider it stealing because 90% of the time the owner will be waiting to reset their shop but can't because someone's there to take it either when the owner tries to reset or if time runs out and it goes down.

What do you guys think?

I only set up at moderately full fm rooms, so if I get my spot taken (I wouldn't say stolen since the only time I really lose my spot is because I FORGOT to reset), I just move to a different FM room with around the same amount of people in.
Don't drag my guild into this. What he chooses to do in fm2 is not guild business. It's his personal business. Don't come in here sprouting crap like that. He's wasn't even camping FM2 spots. He got them before KamiSutra did. KamiSutra was the one camping his shop. Get your facts right.

And if you reset your shop and someone takes your spot then GG. Just suck it up and move on.
Don't drag my guild into this. For your information, there was 1 person AFK where his shop was, and when the person who actually took the spot took it, they had just entered FM and seen an open spot for about 10 seconds and then grabbed the spot and messaged the person who was AFK to hold it for them. Get YOUR facts straight.
1. FM SPOTS DONT BELONG TO YOU.
4. Also don't be coming with your spelled right DarkRelic and your rachet DarkReLLc or w/e and trying to camp FM2 spots.
5. GAZED is ok with KamiSutra having FM2 because they know that KamiSutra is legit and offers good prices and its a reliable place they can go to find what they need. why you rando renehoes gotta screw that up? (not to offend any cool Renegades people ...but you really do have some stupid people)
Most people that go to the fm check all the shops anyway... With owls being sold for 10k the spot doesn't hardly matter anymore. Sometimes I don't even go to fm1 because I know it's just overpriced crap
I skip Fm 1-2 every time because IT IS over priced trash
It's only stealing if you own it. It's rude for sure, but it's no where near illegal or against the ToS.

Let me redo my example then, on a Black Friday sale at a large mall, it's packed and there's pretty much no parking space. A car comes out of of the space and you get ready to park. Out of nowhere, another car goes by, cuts you off then park in the spot you were about to park in. Are you angry? Yes. Did they steal your spot? No. It's a parking spot. You don't own the spot.
I park right behind his car so he cant get out and go do my shopping lol
Seriously, I wouldn't do this, but having somebody camp on your spot, most likely using some kind of illegal aid to get, sucks. I was very happy the day fm map crash was patched.

1. FM SPOTS DONT BELONG TO YOU.
2 Only you know when your spot / shop is going down and or needs to be reset soooo if you can't get your spot back... u either have super slow reaction or super slow internet or u just forget to reset ...(if your reaction time is that slow...u require a whole new level of help, if your internet is slow...dont play from Africa, if you forget to reset...suck it up).
3. Its true KamiSutra tries to control FM2 in GAZED(R) but if you take the time to look at it the equips are priced low or decently soo that people done get ripped off. kamisutra offers good items are reasonable prices, better than overpriced fm1. Most people come to fm2 just because they know in fm2 they will get what they want for a good price. sooooo stop complaining...
i find bera ch1fm1 campers hilarious.

if you aren't part of their team and you set up in fm1, they will camp your permit immediately.

if you have a hired merchant they take note of the time you opened the shop so they know at what point it will auto close. and they camp it after a few hours.

the hilarious part is how some of them aren't afk. they're actually waiting for you to close shop so they can steal it, but the entire time they're trying to take your spot, they don't put up the items for sale in their own shops. i get the whole wanting to control FM1 thing but thats no reason to give up all your sales for a day while camping
Yeah! It's pretty stupid. And honestly if they want control so bad I'm sure they can pay off the players quickly, get everything set up, and make their money back + like a lot more in the time they waste camping.

I know it isn't illegal or against ToS but and you do realize you're talking specifics, right? Most people who are in that example would consider that spot theirs for sure and get pissed off about it. Yes, they'll continue on for a different parking spot but they will feel as if something of theirs (the spot) was wrongfully taken from them.
That's different. Using your example a player would take down shop, go to Frederick, come back and expect the spot to still be there. In that scenerio I think it's fair that whomever happens to find the spot gets to keep it even if the person who had it previously was only gone for like 30 seconds.

In my scenario the player is trying to reset shop by taking items out, "tidying up", closing and reopening without moving from the spot. If someone is standing right where the other player's merchant is so that they can take the spot for that 1 second it takes for the player to close and reopen the merchant then I consider that stealing.

@gobolts Oh that's not why I posted this. This has been something that just bothers me in every server I've ever played so I decided to post a thread about it.
I go through FM starting at FM 22 and I hardly go to FM 1 because items are usually overpriced or the store doesn't have anything worth purchasing.

I swear every time I log in to reset my shop someone always spawns behind me like 99.9% of the time and they just stay there. Pisses me off! >.<

For example, if you were sitting in on a bench at a public park and decide to go buy some ice cream and some guy is sleeping on it when you came back, is it unfair to you? No. Public space is public for a reason, everyone has a right to use it.
Grimm this is what happens when you get FM2 door/bottom row spots. KamiSutra lives for these spots and will camp and harass you until they have them.
